The game, which is the sequel to Tom Clancy’s The Division (2016), is set in a near-future Washington, D.C., in the aftermath of the release of a genetically engineered virus known as “Green Poison” and follows an agent of the Strategic Homeland Division as they try to rebuild the city. Like its predecessor, The Division 2 is a third-person shooter in which the player uses weapons and gadgets to fight enemy factions. The game features elements of role-playing games (RPGs) and has cooperative and player-versus-player online multiplayer modes.
